Inspired by a photograph that accompanied an article written in 2007 by Robert Fisk in The Independent.

‘I don’t see Lebanon as a political piece, although the title would indicate that. I was simply struck by the constant threat to people living in the Middle East and the sheer horror of the things that happen. I suppose my sympathies would be with the victims and the underdog, so I suppose that in that way it is political.’
